Hello, everybody, welcome back! Today we’ll take a look at Episode #18 of DiU, although… It’s gonna be a short one, so don’t get your hopes up! Well, to be fair this is a pretty tame episode: no fight scenes, nothing in need of uncensoring, and no particularly bad shots.

Let’s get to it, then!

• To start off this very brief comparison, both Okuyasu and Josuke’s face have been retouched in this shot:

• This animation is… Yeah, yeah, you guessed it. Brighter & Sharper! In the TV version, the upper half of Okuyasu and Shigechi’s heads were also slightly blurred; this has been fixed in the BDs:

• Here we have an exclusive look at the invincible trio, enjoying one moment of rest. If you look on the front of the booklet Okuyasu’s holding, you’ll see that the ー in バンゴー (a katakana rendition of 番号, “number”) has been coloured white:

• And then we have a couple of credits differences… Yeah, the episode itself is already over! In this first one, the グラフィックモデル制作協力 (Graphic Model Work Assistance) in the middle has been spaced differently:

• And here, the last kanji in animation director 渡邊葉瑠 (Watanabe Haru)’s name (on the right, bottom name on the left column) was previously mistakenly written as 溜 instead of 瑠 (the radical is 氵instead of 王). This was fixed in the BDs:
